Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how CHIC EXPERT LTD, trading as ReceptionIQ, uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on our website and in the ReceptionIQ application.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies such as browser local storage keep small amounts of data on your device for the same purposes. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary. Authentication and session tokens that keep you signed in, CSRF and abuse-prevention tokens, rate-limiting identifiers, and load-balancing state. The service cannot function without these, so they are set without consent.
  • Checkout and payment. Cookies and similar storage set by Stripe, Inc. when a checkout is opened. These are used to process your order, prevent payment fraud and determine applicable tax. See the Stripe privacy notice.
  • Preferences. Local storage entries that remember your workspace selection, sidebar state and interface preferences.
  • Product analytics. Aggregated usage and error diagnostics used to keep the service reliable. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data collected this way.

3. Website chat widget

If you embed the ReceptionIQ widget on your own site, it stores a conversation identifier in the visitor's browser so a chat can continue across page loads. That identifier belongs to your workspace and is used only to deliver the conversation.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working. Where consent is required by law in your jurisdiction, we ask for it before setting non-essential cookies and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

5. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies used for authentication and preferences expire within 12 months or sooner. Cookies set by Stripe are governed by Stripe's own retention rules.
